Position Profile: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Community Health - Refugee Health team.

In this position, you will be responsible for the provision of direct clinical services to clients and in partnership with key stakeholders coordinating the planning, implementation and evaluation of effective and efficient refugee health programs with the Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health (CACH).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

1.





Lead and coordinate the management of the clinical care of newly arrived refugee children and their families in collaboration with key stakeholders.
2. Liaise with government and non-acute care agencies to coordinate the management and care of the refugee children and their families in the community.
3. Identify and manage complex health issues in regards to refugee children and their families.
4. Conduct case reviews and prioritise clinical nursing care to refugee children and their families.
5. Lead the planning, development and evaluation of refugee health programs in CACH.
6. Assist in the development of regional education and training requirements plan in consultation with relevant stakeholders, staff and relevant external organisations.

Eligibility: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.

This position is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check.

Requirements:
