Responsibilities:
The Opportunity:
- This role ensures safeguarding of the company strategy in order to help PepsiCo accomplish its objectives, minimizing risks and protecting assets, ensuring accuracy of records, promoting operational efficiency, and encouraging adherence to global policies, rules, regulations, and laws.
- Perform risk assessment, control improvements and leverage monitoring for control effectiveness across all PepsiCo business processes to evaluate how well risks are being managed and how internal processes are working, providing a preventive and proactive approach by focusing on Policy & Procedure compliance.
- Perform audits, assessments, and transformation projects across all PepsiCo business processes, supporting business objectives to improve control maturity level according to the Global Control Standard Methodology.
Your Impact:
As Internal Control Coordinator, your responsibilities would consist of:
- Support the Internal Control Leader to coordinate all Internal Control agenda including risk assessment, business support, support to local and global projects, GCS reports monitoring, local and corporate reports, technologies, and C&E; investigations / Speak ups.
- E2E Business Process and Internal Control Assessments, supporting remediation plan progress with local Control & Process Owners and Process Executives on a quarterly basis.
- GCS 4.0 Rollout including risk assessment and ensuring all follow-up activities.
- Support Business for implementing and updating local policies and procedures, flowcharts, walkthroughs,
GCS master data aligned with Global Control Standard Methodology.
- Promote best practices in business processes to improve controls efficiency and processes.
- Perform GCS - “Global Control Standard” biannual trainings.
- Drive standardization by harmonizing controls and ways of working by partnering with the GPEX Team and benchmarking with other Sectors.
- Design, implement, and maintain initiatives that drive simplification of processes leveraging PepsiCo tools.
- Support local business on transformation projects and other local-specific requirements that impact local controls activities.
- Responsible for supporting internal, according to the cycle, execution remediation plans follow-up.
- Standardization, alignment, optimization of control environment,
to ensure control keeps online with organizational changes and process developments.
- Corp Audit.
Qualifications:
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accountant, Administrator Finance or similar).
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years total background (Control, Accounting, Audit, Analytics, RPA´s or Finance). "Big Four" experience.
- Advanced English.
- COSO and SOX knowledge.
- Leadership skills to lead a junior team.
- Understanding of auditing standards, audit techniques, and testing and financial/operations controls.
- Celonis, Tableau or other Analytical, Lean Six Sigma, Agile or similar methodologies experience.
- Willing to travel 10% - 15% of time depending on requirements.
- In case of internal candidate,
high business process knowledge is required.
